This weekend (14 and 15 May) is the first ever Nottingham Art Weekender, with galleries across Nottingham open to visitors for free or at discounted rates and a number of events taking place to celebrate the city's visual arts community. On Sunday, we'll be running a pop-up brew bar with our friends at Syson Gallery and Dohm Shop, who have just moved into a new gallery space alongside textile artist Hannah Waldron and publisher Landfill Editions. We'll be brewing a range of our single origin coffees with a few bags available for sale too. At 3pm on Sunday, gallery director Jennie Syson will be giving an informal talk about collecting and owning contemporary art, including how to collect art on a modest budget, and Dohm Shop will be hosting a range of events and workshops all weekend. Free entry at Union Chambers, 19 Weekday Cross, just around the corner from the Nottingham Contemporary.
