We used to live in Edinburgh back in 2014 (just before we set up the roastery) and it was really good to see the growth of the city's speciality coffee scene, with the likes of Artisan Roast, Brew Lab, Fortitude, Machina and others offering high quality beans and excellent service and micro-roasters like Mr Eion in Stockbridge roasting beans in small batches for supply to individual customers and local businesses. Since then, the city's coffee scene has continued to grow and there are some great choices for coffee all across Edinburgh.
We're really happy to be working with Filament Coffee, who first opened in 2014 just off the Royal Mile on Victoria Street and then moved to a new premises on Clerk Street in 2015. They work with Has Bean and a number of guest roasters and serve espresso and a range of hand-poured filters. They are currently serving our Ethiopia Chelchele on Aeropress.
