Standart Magazine celebrates the art and craft of coffee, delivering a thoughtful and carefully curated selection of articles and interviews within a high quality and beautifully presented magazine. The content is structured into five chapters: the coffee, the barista, the ritual, the people and the world. Published in Nitra, Slovakia, Standart also provides an insight into the rapidly growing speciality coffee scene across Eastern Europe.

Highlights of issue 3 (October 2015) include:

  • a speciality coffee tour of Amsterdam and thoughts on Dutch coffee culture from Alex Kitain, founder of The Coffeevine;
  • an exploration of how different coffee varieties have been cultivated and developed to enhance taste in the cup, with the help of Kyle Tush, quality analyst at Counter Culture Coffee;
